International Roaming
I have a prepaid plan in the U.S. I will be travelling in Vietnam in December for a week and in Bali for 10 days in January. Can I get an international plan that will allow me to continue to use my home phone or is it better to get a SIM card in these countries?

No, prepaid service does not support international roaming other than Canada and Mexico. Your prepaid service won’t work in Vietnam or Bali. Getting a SIM card there is your only option. Make sure your phone is unlocked before traveling.
