AT&T Prepaid Service and Unlocked Phones
I've been using an LG Phoenix 3 for over a year now, and I'm looking at a phone upgrade. I'm looking at getting one of the phones below, but not sure if it will be compatible on the prepaid network

If someone can validate whether or not I can purchase an unlocked phone and not an AT&T branded prepaid phone to use with the prepaid network. Any help would be appreciated!

You absolutely can. I was at Best Buy yesterday being a tourist. The have a nice bunch of unlocked compatible phones. All will work for talk text and data on AT&T. You will not get Wifi calling or advanced calling and text features.
You might want to check BB first as they have a sale on many of these phones now. BB will also price match on the same model.
