forgot to include the RMA tag with the defective device

I have recently received a replacement device from AT&T.
I have sent out the defective device in the prepaid package, the package was received today (Aug 29) by AT&T returns, but I forgot to include the RMA tag with the defective device. Can I email it along with the tracking information?

I don't want to end up getting charged, for not returning the device, when in fact it was returned and received.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello @srujan,

I am sorry to hear this happened when returning the equipment. I would love to check on this for you!

I was able to review the process and due to the device being shipped, at this point in the process there would not be a way for us to be able to email it along with the RMA number. Once the package has been received at our warehouse, we will be notified the device was returned. As long as the phone did not have any physical or water damages there should be no charges.
