att topanga store

I am a network tv broadcaster. I have been a customer of att for 25 years. I have 8 cell lines-uverse tv-2 ISDN lines and a land line. I deal with att on a national level and locally. I do most of my business for the last twenty years at the att corp  store

Woodland hills, CA 91367
I have dealt with managers  all these years.
All great guys and good reps for ATT. Unfortunately for me they have left or been promoted.
Last week I needed to purchase two new phones and a a cell line. I emphasize Purchase-add-equipment. I was there to add more money and services to my already vast att empire. Because I am a premium customer I admit to be treated nicely by all the past mangers.
I had to wait 3 days to make an appointment. When I showed up to my assigned time. I was told I did not have an appointment. When I showed them a copy of my confirmation I was curtly told to wait.  Not, Oh sorry about our mistake and thank you. But "sit over there”.
I was then greeted by a saleswoman Christie  and another woman. I had to ask if she was a trainee since Christie did not bother to explain. I informed both ladies how I knew everyone and how it was a bummer. Christie could care less and made no attempt to let me know it will be okay. In fact, I was treated like a lab experiment. Christie would talk to trainee like I was just somebody that would say stuff.
After coming back with the two phones I wanted to purchase. She informed me that I did not qualify for the promotion. I wanted. I explained I did and why. Christie said that she asked the store manager and he said the computer would not let him. I asked if she would call att and that it would be cleared. As I knew all my accounts and it would be fine.
Christie refused. I asked for a manager.
ANGEL . I am a friendly guy. Angel approached not with >>I understand///lemme see with what I can do.... Gave me a look like I defecated on his shoe. He informed me he would not call and the computer will not let him. I asked Please that I knew they would approve if he would just call. He said no he won't and was very unfriendly. He did not want to know why or care.
I left without saying a word. Feeling that this was the first time in twenty five years I was treated I guess like they treat everyone at the Topanga store. I picked up the phone, called att premium customer service. They informed me of course that all can be waived and why didn't the store just call them?
This is way to of line. It is the holidays, I wanted and did purchase product from you.
However, I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone I deal with to stay away from the people and handling of customers in the Topanga store. Maybe att management is treating them poorly. I don't know. I do know that the employees Topanga look and treat everyone like we are prisoners in a death camp.
I am reaching out to the district manager as well.  [edited for privacy – please do not post personal information]

Hello @topangastore,

Welcome to the Community Forums! Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. I’m sorry to hear you were treated so poorly. This is certainly not the kind of experience we want for our customers. Your feedback is very important to us, I am more than happy to look further in to this for you!

To get started, I will need a bit more information. Please send a private message to @ATTCares with your account details, the full address of the store in question, a good contact number, and any additional information you feel will be helpful. Once I hear back, I will be able to begin my investigation.

I look forward to your response. Take care and have a great day!
