I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4 to the new HTC One X. I upgraded about 1 week ago.
I am not very happy with the phone and the service with this handset.
I was told I have "30 days". 30 days to do what exactly? To just exchange handsets? Or can I actually return the phone and ask for my upgrade to be given back to me until I decide what I want to do????
(My apology in advance if there is another thread containing this info already)

You can exchange or return it, but you may have to pay a restocking fee if you return it.

But if I return it, can I undo my 2 year renewal from the upgrade?
If you actually return the device and go back to your original device the upgrade will be reset, be aware it is not instantaneous, it will take time for it to process through the system, if you got the phone through a 3rd party retailer it can take longer - sometimes a lot longer plus the 3rd party retailer may have different retrun and excahgne policies.
If you decide to get a different phone, the upgrade is not reversed and it is a one time shot, once you exchange it for a different phone you are done, there is no gimmie again
