Open Nat Type On Phone Hotspot
Hello, ive been trying for awhile now to achieve getting an open nat type on my ps4 while using my Iphone and sony xperia Z5 premium's hotspot. I tried many things to change my nat type from 3 down to 1, but never worked. Can someone tell me what i could do to change my phones hotspot nat type to Open? Thank you.

Hi there @Sean_P!
Update!!!
Most mobile hotspots, and smartphones, do not support a UPnP routing option. However, the option to update UpnP recently became available on the AT&T Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router.
Note: This is only an option on the Nighthawk because of its ability to route.
You have a regular Hotspot, tethering a computer may be an option and use the Internet Sharing option from the laptop itself. My understanding of this method is that the connection ends up slowing down though, since it’s going through a tertiary device. The option for internet sharing will vary depending on your computer’s operating system.
My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this might cause! If you have any other questions please let me know and I’ll do my best to answer them. Thanks and have a great day!

If there is a known issue with hot spots NAT types for online gamers why is At&t not addressing and correcting the issue? I have both At&t smartphones and Verizon smartphones and my kids can online game with the Verizon smartphones and not the At&t smartphones, no matter the smartphone type or manufacture. This is purely a knowingly network restriction to At&t users from At&t, why? Doesn't At&t want to be competitive with Verizon?
