LG V10 receiving the nougat update

Just out of curiosity, is the H900 LG V10 receiving the latest nougat 7.0 update?

I already noticed T-mobile released the update for their version of the V10, I also noticed AT&T updated the G5.

Will it even be released by AT&T for the H900 V10 & If so when?

Hello @tienxana,

Welcome to the Community Forums.  I know how exciting a new software release can be.  The software is still being tested and we do not have an estimated time for release.  When it is announced it will be posted in the Nougat Tracker thread, or as mentioned above you can check our Device Support page.

I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Hello @Carterman711,

After reviewing software information for the LG v10, we have not set or announced if we are going to be pushing the 7.0 update. The most recent update for the LG v10 is the 6.0 Marshmallow. This was released March 23, 2017.

To update the software

  1. Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
  1. From the device home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings.
  2. Tap the General tab.
  3. Tap About Phone > Software Update > Update Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
  5. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day!

no the v10 is a mid tier phone with horrible specs...  I mean it has a 808 processor that LG is been having all sorts of problems with...  I also think the lawsuit users brought against LG is slowing updates down for the g4 and v10....

completely understandable but Iran Hong Kong and North Korea received the update with no problem no guilt or shame it's just the US that allowed the consumer to complain about a mid-tier device that could easily could have been replaced repaired or bought a new device. So you're basically telling me that I should get a new device with update to nougat. Tell that to the other half a million citizens in the US that bought this device that couldn't afford the $800 Android device or iPhone

considering what LG has been bringing to the table in the past 3 years from the mid-tier prepaid phones to the higher-spec flagship phones that LG G5 was a bust truth be told LG V10 battery is no good but it's still worthy and deserves 7.0 update personal opinion

I never said it shouldn't be updated but was giving insight on why it maybe slow to rollout.

Hello @Carterman711,

As of right now, we currently do not have the update available for the LG v10. However, there may be a possibility we release this update in the near future. I would recommend checking your settings every few weeks to be up to date in software.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful day!
