LG G2 D800 Software Update from India

Hi,

I have an LG G2 D800 (AT& T Unlocked)which i have braught when i i was in USA Last year. it is with Software version D80020y. I returned back to india this year and using the Phone here in india with Local Carrier(Airtel). I am not receiving any software updates from AT&T or LG. i have seen in AT &T websute that there is an update available for my device but i am not able to receive it. when ever i do check for updates from my phone, it say no updates available.

I dont have any AT&T simcard with me.

please help me in this.

I definitely am sorry to hear that you are having these software update issues on the LG G2 phone! Will you be returning to the states in the future?

Since you are currently outside of the US and not on the AT&T network, the software update is not able to be sent to the phone since it is sent over the air as a notification to update. To receive the update, it would require you to be connected to AT&T and have an AT&T SIM card in the phone.

You do have the option of checking for the manual update through the LG PC Suite. That can be accessed by clicking on LG Support through the LG website. Once on that page, you will select the Software Update tab.
