Galaxy s7 IMEI is showing as "non AT&T" device

Tried to request an unlock code for my Galaxy S7.  Have received notices from AT&T  in MyATT account that my phone is eligible to unlock (paid off the Next installments).

Put in the IMEI in the unlock request form and get message the phone is not an AT&T device.

And yes, before anyone asks, the phone is an AT&T phone.  Has a big AT&T logo on the back and I got the phone from my local AT&T store (and it was NOT a Costco or Best Buy).

A contact phone number to tech support to help with this issue would be great.

Re: Galaxy s7 IMEI is showing as "non AT&T" device

I have the same problem.  Going through tech support seemed to work, but then I got a “device not paid off” notice.

(The following is included after all posts to save typing) I don’t work for AT&T. My replies are based on experience and reading content available on the website. Our answers are honest, but not always appreciated. If you posted personal information, please edit and remove.
