Can't stop failed 3g software update every 8 hours
Since attempting an ATT software update on my Pantech Pursuit II recently, I cannot stop it from automatically retrying to update every 8 hours. The update always fails and indicates it will try again in 8 hours. Resetting the phone is not the solution. The problem must be eliminated from ATT's end but no one in overseas customer suppot is famaliar with the problem. I can't be the only one.HELP!
The phone is old so I understand why there may not be an update available. I just want to make the cycle stop.

Go to Settings, select software updates and then select "NO"- that should stop it.
