BOGO and keeping phone numbers
We currently have 3 lines on our plan. Want to use the BOGO deal and add a new line, but have my wife and I (existing lines) use the two new phones and switch our old phones to our children. How do we do this, transfer contacts, etc and not mess up the BOGO deal?

You buy and activate the “free” phone on the new line so that the installment plan is on the new line. Once the new line is activated and the installment plan in place, you can use that phone on any line you want by swapping the SIM card. Contacts are normally tied to your google or iCloud account, so they sync automatically.
