$2 a day plan and smart phone
I have looked a lot and still a bit confused. If you use the $2 a day plan, can you use a smart phone for talk and text, and use it to connect to the internet at hot spots? I need to upgrade from my 2G phone...

You can use a smartphone on the $2 per day, but will have no access to mobile data.
Same for the 25 cent per minute or $30 per month plan. They are all wifi only.

@lizdance40 Data can be purchased on the $2 per day plan, $1 per 100mb. Data can also be purchased on the $30 plan, $5 per 250mb. Only the 25 cent plan offers no data access.

Thank you for the replies... I am getting an upgrade, and to be able to connect to wifi at hot spots would be great.
