I am moving what do I do with my equipment?

@htsaunders When you go through the move process, some devices are included in the move package. However, I would recommend taken any devices you can / want with you. You are able to have those installed at you new location along with the new devices that are provided in the package. Just be sure to let the Move Specialist know what devices you are bringing with you so they can be added to the installation appointment.

They will charge you $549 to install new service. They will not install the old equipment in lieu of the new to help underwrite the cost. ADT will install for me for $99 with the same monthly payment. Unbelievable that customer service can’t make decisions? I’ve had great service with AT&T but I’m not going to pay the $549 just to move. So good bye

I totally agree. I have been with ATT for years and have all of the services they offer but since I'm moving its crazy we must pay this amount. Its just another way to make money on their customers. Im considering changing everything (Mobile, Uverse and Cable). I will check with other Alarm providers.

Simply safe is a good alternative no stupid contracts or repaying for a whole new unnecessary installation with new equipment.
