Cool phone! Sorry you can't use that anymore. AT&T shut down the 2G network Dec 2016.

Nope.  The phone is from 2004 and is 2G only.  I don't think Verizon will even unlock it for other carriers.

Thanks. I'll miss it. Just switched from Verizon, which was still supporting it. No similar next (V4?) series. The V3 is one tough phone. Lost track how many times I dropped it, dunked it. It even got bitten once -- terrier. Had one since inception -- more than 10 years. Lot of functionality for that age. Camera, video, music, Web, Bluetooth, texting w/wo attached pix, notes, alarm, ringtones, voice commands. And easy to use. No butt dialing. Small and slim. And way cheaper than my iphone. It was discontinued because ...

Oh, well. Life is full of disappointments.

@SimiGirl  Maybe....  the Kyocera is a durable phone, no case required and has current features.  Blows the old phones out of the water.

T-Mobile supports the MOTO RAZR V3 (2G Network) at least until 2021... they are the only COMPANY that I am aware of supporting a 2G network. Of course, Motorola showed a folding RAZR V4 back in March of 2018, so I'd keep a lookout for the release of that ...

Furthermore, T-Mobile supports the RAZR V3 on their (2G network) which they have promised to maintain at least until 2021 ...
