cannot turn on my internet on homebase page.

I just received my Z700A to have internet. It came with a SIM card. I installed it and it worked for 5 min. then I try to use the internet again and it did not work. The wifi signal on the device blinks. I follow the tutorial on how to get internet to work. Login to homebase and notice the turn internet off is set as turn internet on. When I click on it to turn it on it does nothing. It doesn't change it still says turn internet on. All the other options are selected as how they are suppose to . How do I turn internet on?

also it does have a SIM card but not an actual phone plugged in it did not come with it and need to buy it. Is this the cause?

Goodevening @monicawarren1,

 

I understand how tedious it can be setting up a new device sometimes but I am here to help out!

 

As far as activating the device, we want to make sure it was completed properly. Please follow this link. Once you’re there, all you need to do is enter the 20 digit ICCID off of your SIM card. Then enter the 15 digit IMEI from your device which should be located on a label/sticker on the device or packaging. This step will make sure your device has been activated.

 

For your Wi-Fi connectivity issues, please visit our Device How To center. Please select  the make and model of your device. Then click on tutorials > troubleshooting > internet access issues.

 

If your device is still not connecting to the network, I would recommend visiting our Troubleshoot and Resolve tool. Once you’re there, all you need to do is select your device make/model. Then click on the appropiate issue. I am sure that will take care of whatever’s going on!
