Hey there @Caressahanson12,

Thank you for reaching out and bringing your inquiry to our Community Forums! I certainly understand wanting to play online and join the fun. I can help with this!

To connect to the internet with an Xbox 360 you will want to ensure you are attempting to connect to a network with a static IP.  Devices which use our LTE network to transmit Wi-Fi (such as hotspots or Home Bases) have a dynamic IP and are unable to connect consoles to the internet.

If you are using a wired router to transmit your Wi-Fi, you can follow these steps to connect;

  1. From the Dashboard (Press Xbox button), select Settings, and then select System.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select the name of your wireless network (Ex: 2WIRE123 or ATT123).
  4. Enter your wireless network password and select Done. The console will automatically try connecting to Xbox Live.
    Note: If you do not see the name of your wireless network, select Advanced Options. Then, select Specify Unlisted Network and enter your wireless network name. Select your wireless security type: WEP, WPA, or WPA2. Or, select No Security if your network doesn’t have a password. These security type settings must match the security type of your wireless network.
  5. Select Configure Network.
  6. On the Basic Settings tab, select Wireless Mode.
  7. Select Scan for Networks
  8. Select your wireless network name.

If this does not work, please refer to our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. It will use all the network information from your account and our infrastructure to get the best possible resolution.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach back out. Thank you for being the best part of AT&T and have a great day!

I'm not sure about the above reply but my daughter uses her phone to connect her Xbox one S to the internet. No problems there.
