Voice dial on Tilt

Is there a button for voice dial on the Tilt? Can I assign one?

Thanks.

A long press of the Call Button activates voice command.

That's not working. Is there something I need to activate?

Thanks.

Long press is for the Fuze - does not work on Tilt - you need to map or remap - follow the thread that I posted above.
On my Tilt, had it remapped to PTT button - worked like a charm

Re: Voice dial on Tilt

OK, (I'm really feeling like a noob Smiley Sad ) How can I add voice tags to my contact items?

I feel like I'm missing something really basic. 5.0 to 6.1 is really quite a change.

6.1 comes with Voice Command.

No more need to voice tag your contacts.

Just activate Voice Command and when the microphone shows on the screen say "Call John Doe" or whatever your contact's name is.

Also, you can ask VC for help. When the mic shows on the screen say "Help" --- and it will walk you through.

You can easily do that.

Just go the the one you checked by accident and just clck on the solved, it will turn it off. Then go to the answer you like to click the solved on that answer.

Not working for me. That just reloads the page, positioned at the "solution" post. Smiley Sad

Thanks.

Glad it worked!

I love VC. Can't live without it.

Now...look for the Voice Command icon (if not in Programs, then it's in Settings)...and open the Program (or maybe you can say 'START VOICE COMMAND').

Once you get to the VC menu, you can set it to "announce" appts, messages, emails, etc. Announcing means "read out loud".

You can set it to announce only when Bluetooth is on, or always, which will announce via speaker.

It's also supposed to announce Caller Names, too, when they call, but this aspect of announcing is buggy.

Announcing is a great feature of VC.
