What kind of phone and what exactly what did you see? More than likely, not a virus but a pop up web page trying to get you to click on something malicious. Clearing your browser cache and cookies might get rid of that.

Yeah, that's a malicious web page, not a virus. Though it is possible, I've still never heard of an iPhone actually getting a virus. This article explains how to prevent those pop ups and clear out your browser cookies and cache: https://howtoremove.guide/iphone-virus-removal/
