Verizon Samsung Galaxy 7" Tab---using AT&T MiFi 2372---in other countries

I have just ordered the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab (7") but am concerned that it may not be usable (for connecting to the Internet, Web browsing, e-mail, and sending and receiving text messages) from another country (even Canada), especially outside of public WiFi hotspots like coffee shops.  It is not on the Verizon list of globally capable devices.       However, would it work if it were connected to an AT&T MiFi 2372 (which is an internationally capable mobile hotspot) (assuming I had the AT&T international data plan)?

Mi-Fi hot spots are literally portable wi-fi spots. you would connect to it the same way as any other wi-fi hotspot. I would also reccomend using google voice for texts while oversees. pushes everything over wi-fi very efficeintly. and one word of advice, enable security on the hot spot if you are paying for an international data plan.
