Unlocked AT&T Blackberry Priv not updating to Marshmallow
Hi, I live in Cape Town, South Africa and I have bought one of the unlocked AT&T Blackberry Priv's on EBay. It works fine on our local networks in South Africa, but it is not allowing an OTA update to Marshmallow. Please assist me with some advice on how to correct this?

Not with its locked bootloader, and hardware that checks for specific BlackBerry signed OS files. Besides, with the bounty over at the XDA forums for rooting the Priv since release going unclaimed to this day... I think that tells you something.

the autoloader is available. I loaded him yesterday down.previously I would like a full backup from Priv do I have thatopportunity for that?

Though late an addendum:
You CAN get the Autoloader for the AT&T tampered MarshMallow directly from BB.
BUT you should be aware that this wipes the phone, so make sure to backup ALL your data.

(I done it a month ago, and it works just great, with MUCH better battery stamina)

AT&T won't help with out of service devices. You are on your own.

provider around the world. I called and waited 20 minutes and explained to
someone in customer derive which took my *#06# number and locked up the
unlock code for that particular phone *#06# and simply gave me the unlock
code No Questions asked
Anyways, thanks for responding, I'm glad to know that people like you are
out there to help, thanx
