UNLOCK GEAR S DEVICE

I've purchased Samsung Gear S to SOUQ.com online store in K.S.A. i receive the device in nice good contdition, when i install the sim card it requires unlock code,the signal stregnth is full bars but i canot make a call. i dont have any idea if this device is lock to AT&T or to any other netwrok

Congratulations on receiving the Samsung Gear S! The smart watch is a great addition to your phone and offers some cool options. I am sorry to hear you’re having some issues using it. I would love to help out!

 

Is there an AT&T SIM card in the watch? If there is, it is possible a PUK code is being requested.  

 

There is a very informative article that provides instructions on how to retrieve and enter the PUK if you’re using AT&T.

 

However, if it is a non AT&T SIM card, the smart watch could be requesting a device unlock code. At this time, wearables are not eligible to be unlocked from AT&T’s network.

 

As a next step, I would check with the manufacturer to see what carrier the Gear S is locked to. Samsung would be more than happy to provide the correct information. You can contact them via phone at 800-726-7864 or through their live chat service online.
