Trying to submit Unlock but says IMEI you entered does not appear to be an AT&T wireless phone
i am trying to submit Unlock request for gophone and when i enter IMEI it tells me "The IMEI you entered does not appear to be an AT&T wireless phone or tablet. Please re-enter the correct 15-digit IMEI number for your AT&T wireless phone or tablet. You can obtain the IMEI number from the wireless phone by dialing *#06#."

Whenever you run into that particular error, it means the IMEI that you’re trying to unlock is not locked to the AT&T network. That typically happens when the device was purchased third party. If you bought the device from AT&T, it’s something we can definitely look deeper into for you. If it was purchased from a third party vendor, you’ll want to reach out to them to see which carrier the device belongs to.
