Both networks run off of the GSM network, so they would be compatible if your AT&T SIM card fits into the Metro phone. In order for this to work properly, Metro PCS would need to unlock the phone from their network.
In order to unlock a Metro PCS phone, you will need to call their customer service to make sure you meet the requirements and submit a request.
