Sim not provisioned s3

Just bought a Samsung Gear S3 directly from Samsung it is the Att version and it is paired to a galaxy s7. I keep getting sim not provisioned #mm2 when trying to number sync. How can this be fixed?

Have you activated the eSIM in your watch? If not, you can do so on our activation page. If you are still unable to numbersync after trying this, please let us know.
