Hello @Nicole198306,

Excellent question! It will be my pleasure to help answer it!

When a phone displays a network lock error message, this means it is locked to the original carrier’s network. This means the phone can only be used on the network it was used on originally. In order to use it with another carrier, you will want to unlock your device. For AT&T devices, you can visit our Device Unlock Page and follow the on-screen instructions to submit the request.

I hope this helps!
