Phones For Senior Citizens

I need to get a cellphone for my Dad but can't find anything like he wants.  He just wants a basic cellphone with large buttons and a large display.  Can I get something like this from AT&T?  I'm going to add another line on my account to make the cost more manageable.

Thanks!

Have a look at Pantech Breeze III or LG A340 (http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-A340/technical-specifications)

Thanks for the suggestions.  I forgot to mention in that my Dad is legally blind so he can't see very well.  I need a phone with a large display and large keys.  I'll check these out.

Thanks!

As far as I know, if you are looking for larger display and keys than the ones I posted above, there is none from AT&T BUT you can get an unlocked phone like this ( http://www.amazon.com/Snapfon-ezONE-C-Senior-Phone-Buttons/dp/B005CWSF3U/ref=pd_sim_cps_3 ) and use it with AT&T SIM card and service.

An alternative is Consumer Cellular that offers Doro phones (http://www.dorousa.us/).

Is the Doro phone able to be used with an AT&T SIM card?

Personally, I'd reccomend the Pantech Breeze IV

This is in the sales/feature portion of the phone:

3" LARGE DISPLAY WITH LARGE KEYS AND FONTS

Text got easier to read and graphics easier to see. Display size has increased from 2.2" (Breeze III™) to 3.0" (Breeze IV) for even better viewing.

3 QUICK CALL KEYS

Three shortcut keys allow you to assign a "Quick Call" speed dial to a contact in your phone book for quick access to your most-dialed numbers.

DUAL USER MODES

For simplicity seekers who want to stay connected to family and friends but want an easy-to-use mobile experience, the Breeze IV provides simplified menus and features in Breeze mode.

SLOW SPEECH

Allows user to slow down an incoming caller's voice during live conversations and voice mail.

I haven't played with it myself, but for the phones that AT&T does sell, this seems to fit the bill

Hello rcalderaro1.  My grandparents recently got a new cell phone.  It is the Pantech Breeze IV.  It has a large display, large buttons, a loud ring volume, and it's really basic.  You may want to check that one out for your dad.  You can do some research on it on the AT&T Wireless web site, Phone Scoop, and other cell phone/gadget web sites.  My grandparents are very pleased with their Pantech Breeze IV.

Hello,

Pantech Breeze IV is out of stock nationwide.  Any idea when stock will be replentished. LG A340 is small buttons, doesn't really seem Senior friendly, although I see there is a Senior Mode for hard of hearing.  My Mother in law has hearing aids already, but she's also legally blind and needs the larger buttons, or the 3 hot keys like Pantech Breeze IV.  Thanks

Is there a date when Pantech Breeze IV will be back in stock for ordering?

What is the date?  Thanks
