Pantech Breeze IV PC Suite Windows 10

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 and can't seem to find a way to download PC Suite for my Pantech Breeze IV, which I need to transfer photos, etc. from my phone to my computer. I had it previously with Windows 7. Anyone know how/where I can do this.

 

By the way, the following does not help me at all: https://www.att.com/devicehowto/tutorial.html#!/stepbystep/id/stepbystep_KM1276822?make=Pantech&mode...  If I plug my phone into my computer, the computer makes a sound as if it is recognizing the phone, but then it does not seem to know the phone is there. Or at least I cannot find the phone anywhere on the computer.

Hello @pdxsmc,

 

We can definitely provide you with some more information about transferring data from your cell phone to your computer. As you know, we have a helpful article with all of the necessary steps to Transfer media to or from your Pantech Breeze IV and a computer. You won't need to download any software to connect your device to your computer. Simply insert the microUSB end of the cable into the port on the side of your device, and insert the USB end of the cable into an open port on your PC. Once your computer makes that sound that you're referring to, it has recognized the cell phone and it can be found as a Removable Disk after you click Start, then Computer. Well, yes I did know about that article but it is not helpful. As I said, when I plug my phone in to my computer and hear that sound, the phone still does not appear under the list of devices. The computer does not seem to know it is there. By the way, I have windows 10.

Thank you for the post. You may need to check your security software for your computer to make sure it isn't blocking the download. If everything seems fine, you'll need to contact the manufacturers of PC Suite for assistance.

My computer does not download PC Suite automatically. Where can I download it by hand? Is there a website where it is available? Again, this is for Pantech Breeze IV with Windows 10. Thank you.

Any advice on how I do that? How do I reach out to PC Suite? There doesn't seem to be any such company that I find by searching the web. Plenty of search results, but only things like "Nokia PC Suite", Android PC Suite, etc. Nothing relevant to my Pantech Breeze IV. Thanks for your help.

Hi @pdxsmc

 

You can try disabling USB debugging mode. Go into your phone settings, then Applications > Developer's Options > Disable USB Debugging. Now you should be able to connect your device to your PC. It will detect your device as a mass storage device.

Under My Stuff/Applications, I have "Empty List".
