Nokia phone shutsoff

My Nokia 6750-1b has a fully charged battery and I can turn it on. BUT, within minutes or seconds, it claims the battery is low and turns off. I can turn it back on, get the fully charged signal, then same thing: It claims the battery is low and turns itself off, almost like the Addams Family box. Anyone know how to fix this? Many thanks.

Hi @morrisonhimself!

It sounds like you might have a bad battery.

Have you tried replacing the battery yet?

Does the phone stay powered on if it’s plugged into a charger?

Thanks,

Alison

Hi, Alison,

Thank you very, very much. I finally found the chance to go to a local AT&T authorized store and according to tests there, despite what I believed, the battery seemed to be damaged.

Well, the capitalist pigs there sold me a new phone ... for $15!

Every experience I have with AT&T just makes me love the company more.

Every AT&T employee I have dealt with, or the employees at the "authorized" store, have been helpful and courteous and friendly. And helpful. Let me repeat that.

So, you have my thanks for your effort at helping and it looks as if you were right, too.

You too have been helpful and courteous. And correct.

Many thanks, again.

Michael
