Nokia E71X - gmail contact list

Is the gmail contact list available when I am using either Nokia messaging or mobile gmail? Now I am typing the full email address when I am sending an email out with the Nokia phone. Just checking if I am missing something.

I have mobile gmail on the Nokia E71X. To get to your contacts, you click on compose mail. The To is highlighted. click in Menu (which is button on the left). You get options. One is Add Recipients. th Your contacts will come up. There is a box to search. Once you get to the proper contact, highlight it, click the square button, then click Done. I hope this helps.
