My iPhone X keeps dropping AT&T network my bill is enormous and I have begged for help

I have had AT&T for years and I was told that my bill would only be about $100 including the cost of the iPhone X! I was told that this is the best phone with the best reception! I am disabled and on a fixed income. My network keeps disappearing! I can’t make phone calls but once in a blue moon. No one can call me and lots of times I have no dial tone or I can call but I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me. I have begged for help from AT&T and they do absolutely nothing! I watched my data flying off my phone and I don’t stream! AT&T made me pay for data I did not use many times upwards of $500 and yet my service is disgusting and all I get from them is you must not get good reception! You would think after all the money I have paid them they would at least send me a signal booster for free!!!! If they don’t help me soon I am changing carriers! And this iPhone X is nothing special and doesn’t pick up any better than my iPhone 6S! I was lied to and although I am giving AT&T the opportunity to make things right I grow sicker of them daily! AT&T fix all of the problems and heartache you have caused me!!!

You have poor service in your home or your area. Other than building a new cell tower nearby, there's not much AT&T can do about it. The iPhone X can't fix that, and AT&T can't send you a free signal booster because it doesn't have any. The microcell it used to send out is no longer even being manufactured. Wi-Fi Calling is the only real way to get better service indoors but I'm guessing you don't have home Wi-Fi if you're getting $500 of data overages. If you want to avoid overages, go to Settings, Battery, and find out which app is using your data. You could also switch to an unlimited plan which doesn't charge overages.

Thank you so much for answering me, however you did not tell me anything
that I haven’t heard before. I have been on AT&T coverage map and it shows
significant LTE service coverage! But my coverage keeps dropping????##-

If you've heard it before, then why are you still demanding a signal booster from AT&T when you've been told they don't have any? Why are you still claiming you never used the data when you can see on your phone that you did? Why are you demanding AT&T "fix" your service when there's nothing they can do? What exactly do you expect them to do for you?

If you've been on the coverage map, then you should have scrolled down and read the fine print which says "This map displays approximate outdoor coverage. Actual coverage may vary. Coverage isn’t guaranteed and is subject to change without notice."

ATT does not guarantee coverage at any specific location regardless of what the coverage map says. No carrier does. If ATT is not providing the coverage you need where you need it, you should switch to another carrier. Expecting ATT to fix coverage at your house is not realistic.

I was not using but a very small amount of data I kept a lot of my bills
which shows this! In fact the salesperson at AT&T is the one that sold me
the package assuring me that that would be all I needed! Then I had an
IPhone 6s I was having problems but I kept the phone for a while. I went
back to AT&T and explained my problems to yet another sales person! My
contact was up and what I should have done was go to a different phone
service! However I stayed with AT&T because the sales person told me that
the IPhone 6s had a terrible antenna and that the IPhone X would work! I
believed him and I bought it. After that the problems became worse! Someone
I don’t know and AT&T won’t tell me added 2 telephone lines! That I was
charged for I was also charged for dropping the lines! There were 2 new
phones ordered and charged to my account! By who I don’t know! I returned
the phones and I did get a refund for the phones but I watched my data
flying off my phone and I had to pay for that! So I talked to another sells
person who sold me unlimited data now my phone is worse about network
problems! Also I have done some research and AT&T does have cell service
amplifiers but I guess you have to be a VIP in order for them to send you
one! By the way they still make micro cells and they are sold on the
internet! I am just bidding my time now and as soon as this piece of crap
is paid off I will be moving on unless they can fix my problems because I
cannot keep paying money that I don’t have for a phone that doesn’t

The problems of people adding lines or buying phones without authorization is a fraud issue. Should have spoken to fraud before disconnecting the lines. I would change your AT&T password and passcode to keep that from happening again.

AT&T does not have "cell phone amplifiers." The previous option was a microcell, and AT&T no longer offers them. Yes, microcells still exist and are being manufactured and distributed, but not by AT&T. Also, the microcells work by connecting to Wi-Fi, so they would not help if you don't have Wi-Fi in your home.

fraud issue!! Still not impressed!!##- Please type your reply above this
