Hello @keeyaw103!

I’m glad you have reached out to us. We are happy to address any concerns you may have!

You can adjust the timeout settings on the Trek 2 to make the screen stay awake longer. To do so you will go to Settings > Display> Sleep. From here you will choose the amount of time you will want your screen to stay awake.

I hope we provided enough details for you. Have a wonderful week!

This is incorrect. I set it to two minutes and it goes off in 5seconds. It indicates that a gmail account may be overriding this. Is that possible?

Mine does the same thing, even after changing the sleep settings to 1 minute

My trek did an update last night, and today the screen will not stay on. I can see this is a recent problem, based on the other posts. I hope AT&T is aware of this problem and can offer a solution. It's urgent.

I have done that, numerous times. Set for ten minutes. Does not work. Is there a chance that gmail is somehow overriding this?

In fact, this is what I think. Also, the following is true for me as well.

At&t needs to fix this! Most of us know how to adjust our time out screen. This is not the problem. Trek 2 screen goes off after 5 seconds no matter what the time out is set to. This happened after an AT&T UPDATE. Please at&t fix this!!

That fix you have suggested has been tried more than once. It does not take effect and nothing changes.

It happened after the lastest update and no fix or solution has corrected it yet. It is extremely annoying because the tablet can not be used with out constantly tapping the power button to turn the screen back on.
