MEP unlock code

Hi I have been using this device since 2013 and today I accidentally click on the "reset to factory setting", and the device is currently locked by the mep code.

I am a Singaporean and using non AT&T network, the device was bought in Malaysia.

Please kindly assist me to solve this issue.

Thank you.

Hi there @leecoolcool

You’ll need to submit a device unlock request.

Please visit att.com/deviceunlock and submit a request as a Non-Mobility customer.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thank you,

If you have been using it for 2 years, it must be unlocked already.

It is more likely it won't work with your SIM card due to incorrect APN settings.

Contact your current carrier for these settings and type them in yourself.

Its very easy.  I bought an international version of a phone, which would not recognize my ATT sim, until I changed the APN settings to match ATT network.
