Fixed wireless only 3G now, no 4G LTE

Not sure what is going on, but my fixed wireless routers are only getting 3G now. For months we have had our data plan we have been getting 4G LTE at our home. My cell phone is also ATT and it is receiving 4G LTE with no problem. I have used several apps to verify I am getting LTE from the closest tower.

If I go out in the front yard, the ATT cell tower is about 1000m from us. I took my spare wireless router/receiver and my ATT 4G LTE SIM card with me and it only received 3G, no 4G LTE service on the unlocked, GSM 4G LTE receiver/router. Both units are the same make and model.

I am really at a loss here, we had excellent service up until a couple of days ago, now I cannot get 4G LTE from my fixed wireless anymore.

Thanks,

David M.

The solution was a firmware update I found on the internet. The equipment is Entel.

All good now, thanks.

Hello @dcmille290,

We understand that you're having issue with your fixed wireless service. Don't worry we can put you in the right direction.

Have there been any changes with router or attempted changes that could have affected service?

Hello @dcmille920,

I understand you're having issues with your fixed wireless so let's see what we can do troubleshoot and help.
What router model are you referring to and what internet speeds are you paying for?
Also, have you tried rebooting your device? This will normally resolve issues related to connectivity.
Please let us know if this helped resolve your issue.
