Compatible Prepaid Device - Will Your Device Work by AT&T

 

BringingYourDevice3.pngOne question we often is, "will my device work on AT&T's prepaid network?" Yes, if it is compatible.

 

Your device must work on the following GSM network frequencies 

  • 3G WCDMA/ UMTS/ HSDPA/ HSPA+ network – 850/1900MHz Bands 2 & 5 (minimum requirement for nationwide service)
  • 4G LTE network – 700/ 850/ 1900/ 1700/ 2100/ 2300MHz Bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 17, 29, 30, 40, 66

NoteTo verify your device supports these frequencies, visit your devices manufacturer website. 

 

How To Purchase A SIM Card 

  1. From a computer or tablet, go to AT&T SIM for AT&T PREPAID.
  2. Follow the prompts to get a an AT&T PREPAID SIM card and add accessories.
  3. Enter the 15-digit IMEI number for the phone you’re bringing to AT&T PREPAID.
  4. Follow the prompts to select an AT&T PREPAID plan and continue check out.
  5. From the shopping cart page, if you’re transferring a number from another provider, select the link Check eligibility and follow the prompts to continue.
  6. Follow the prompts to check out and submit your order.

Does my att cell phone,I 7, waterproof...work on pre paid. I know I need SIM card. Free of any charges too.?   CLF

I have 7 plus. Price fir 1000 minutes, talk,text, 10 mbs of data

I assume you asked if an iPhone 7 will work on prepaid.  Yes, any compatible phone works on prepaid or postpaid 

SIM cards are free or cheap if you activate a prepaid plan with a company store.  Resellers often charge more.

At&t has no such plan.  

At&t.com has prices and plans listed online for prepaid or postpaid.  All 30 day/monthly plans have unlimited talk and text.  No plan has exactly 10 gigs
