Change my alert tone when receiving a text message Pantech Impact

Hi, is there a way I can change my alert tone when receiving a text message?  When I go to my stuff, audio, there is a sound I want to use, but it only gives me an option as a ringtone, not for text messages.  I have a Pantech Impact.

Settings

Profiles

left soft key for Edit

Scroll down to Message Sound

Choose Select

Choose Audio

Alert Tones

and here you can choose your alert tone from what's available on your phone or SD card

Thank you sooooooo much! My hubby and I both have the same phones and I have been trying to change this tone for over a month. The user manual is absolutely no help in this area. Thank you once again.
