Cannot locate 'Alerts & Sounds' on Settings Menu

Question

HiI just got the W580i today.  I like it alot, however, when i go to MenuSettings, the Alerts & Sounds option is not there.  The AT & T store is closed for the evening, so I thought I'd post here and see if it's something I can fix from home.ThanksMessage Edited by Clonewars2008 on 11-29-2008 07:29:28 PM

When I look at the menu on my W580i, you go into settings than press the center button to scroll to the right. That will bring you to the sounds and alert function.

Oh geez, thank you SO much.  I kept scrolling down...didn't think it went to the right!  Yay!

Now....I was wondering if there is a way to increase volume on text message tone, without making the ring tone volume higher?

Unfortunately no, there is no way to change the volume of your message alert although some are louder than others. Another option you can also use a ringtone for your message alerts. just scroll to the last message alert tone and you will see one where you can replace it to whatever you like.
