BOGO
Why is it that AT&T makes you think you’re getting a good deal, but they’re really just screwing you. I DO NOT suggest ever doing the BOGO promotions. They’re a scam to get your freaking money, because they’re not truly buy one get one free. OH and if you go to pay one of them from the BOGO off, the other one is still active.

No, not a scam. The free phone is really free if you meet all of the qualifications for the promotion. I know many customers that are getting their monthly credits for the free phone just as they are supposed to. Ninety percent of the time when someone does not get the credits, it is because they did not meet the requirements for the free phone or did something they weren’t supposed to do, like cancel the line getting the free phone.

It’s not a scam.
What it is, is a marketing tool to add new business and make a profit over at least a 24 month payment period. It was never to save the customers money.
If you want to save money, select your carrier by 1. Coverage. 2. Cost of SERVICE. Then buy your own affordable phones.

@UUUGGGHHCell companies generally do not give free cellular equipment without requiring you to have service on that device for a length of time (usually 24-30 months).
It's kind of their business model...
If you get a phone for $650 less than it would have cost you without that offer, then it's free.

There is no free. AT&T is ripping customers off. We bought on the BOGO deal in January 2019 and are yet to receive any credits even after excess of 25 phone calls and having 4 ICU cases created that magically "disappear". You can't get a hold of anyone in the ICU department or anyone that can actually help.
