When on call internet doesn't work

Hi, since I upgraded to Samsung Note 9 and now to Samsung Note 10 Plus, I have this same issue where when I am on call the data gets super slow and I can't browse the internet. The top notification area shows "H" everytime I just start making a phone call. When I get off, all of the sudden everything goes back to normal. Why is that happening every single time and is ATT purposely slowing down internet?

 

I tried different things to see if I can fix this, I switched my SIM to a new one, I restarted the phone, I tried making phone calls and browsing in different locations but I have the same problem.

I have AT&T Unlimited &More(SM) Premium Multi Line Plan, not prepaid, and zip code is 11204 in NY. But the issue occurs everywhere where I go. In good reception areas.

Do you have a Att branded phone or unlocked phone?

It's unlocked, bought it from samsung and it's not at&t branded.

Yelp then that is why you have no volte.  You can use wifi calling either.  Sorry but that is the price of a unlocked non Att branded Samsung phone.

Since this isn't an AT&T-branded device, you may need to check your APN settings

I checked the APN settings and the SIM card validation and both are the same as in the link above. Still same problem.

Let's look into this for you. Another step you may want to take is ensure your device is updated with the latest software.

 

If your case persists despite the first step, another option is to use Wi-Fi Calling.

Attcares is wasting your time.  Since it's a unlocked version it won't get volte or wifi calling.  @ATTKevin can some let care know this tread is wasting this customers time.  It hurts to read it.
