Text to Call US Number for International Charges
We signed up for the $10 a day international plan before our trip. Today we get a text from ATT to call this number while we are on our trip since we have over $100 in additional charges. We called and it appeared to be legit since she knew info about our account. Why would a St. Louis number (314) be used instead of an 800 number? And why didn’t my online change happen prior to our departure??

800 numbers don’t work from overseas. That 314 number is ATT’s international support number and it is a free call from your mobile phone. Sorry, no one here can explain why the day pass didn’t get added before your trip. You say you did it online, perhaps you just didn’t complete the change. Did you get an email confirming the change? You should have.

There are a lot of ways the Day Pass might have been added and you still have high charges for international use. AT&T's International Day Pass is only applicable in 100 countries. Other countries outside of that, cruise ships, and airplane usage wouldn't be covered, and would run up charges.

Thanks for validating the number was legit. Got a little worried after we gave them some info. Just glad we are getting a credit and have the plan working now.
