Hello @Masiero.

We are servicing a tower in your area and estimate the work will be done tomorrow afternoon. We always recommend using our Mark the Spot app if you are experiencing less bars than usual. We use the information from the app to see where we can improve our coverage.

Hello,

I had at&t for 3 years and at the start I had great signal just about everywhere I went. As of Jan. 2018 my signal strength started to get lower and lower, to the point that I couldn't move from the front of my window or I would drop a call, worse lose the 1, yes I said 1, bar of signal strength. Well after 7 months of me calling at&t customer support, tech support, I was told to do the same thing over and over to my phone, of which none worked. What broke my back was a tech support that told me in June that at&t was "FIXING AND UPGRADING THEIR TOWERS FOR THE UPCOMING 5G" around the city I live in. That was just what I didn't want to hear because the ding dang "TOWER" they were supposed to be working on was 450 feet away from my back porch and I have never seen so much as a human by it. Now I'm retired and do not smoke in my House so I am always outside on my porch taking a smoke break and for 7 long months all I saw next to or around the "TOWER" was deers and such. When I told customer support what I just mentioned, their reply was " Oh, we are working on one TOWER at a time" and " Do YOU know if that TOWER next to you belongs to at&t"?. I replied with " why would I know if that's your TOWER, do you not "BOUNCE" off other carries TOWERS? So I went to their site to map out all the cell TOWERS close and around me and that TOWER behind my house is indeed a at&t TOWER. So long story short, I was paying more then 100 bucks a month to get at best 1 bar of service while they were "FIXING" the TOWER just outside my house. I switched to VERIZON and guess what..... I got full....FULL signal strength and according to the app I use to find signal, it is getting FULL SIGNAL from the same TOWER at&t owns and suppose to be fixing. That's just a shame but they will not see another dime from me. Fix those TOWERS faster at&t.

I have the same issue since late Nov2018. I upgraded to IPhone XS last October and signal was just like my iPhone 6S for about a month or so. Then late Nov while inside my house my signal bar went down to zero (no service) at times and most of the times one bar. Since it’s a new phone I reported it to Apple and they scheduled to see and check if it’s the cell issue and found nothing wrong, although I’ve noticed the signal bar went up to three/four bars (good signal) while inside the Apple store they recommended address the issue with AT&T so I went to AT&T and right away the signal inside the store was full bars. I was told by AT&T technician that it was iPhone problem since model XS came out. Then we made a trip to Las Vegas for a week and have no issues with signal even inside the house or casino. Finally concluded the issue was AT&T signal around my neighborhood (Mira Mesa San Diego) was the problem...until now it’s the same problem and planning to accept Spectrum Mobile offer (for sure cheaper) soon, over twenty years with AT&T Wireless but time to move on, too old to worry!!!

Me too. they tried the same lies with me. I was also an ATT customer for 15 years. I am thinking of going to xfinity wireless. Do you think they will be any better?

I agree. Used to have decent reception at my work. Last few weeks it has been 1 or no bars. As usually at -123dbm.  My home also has lousy reception. But at home I bought a $550 WeBoost signal booster. Not going to do that at work. My co-workers who have Verizon or T-Mobile have

no problems with reception.

After all these years with Cingular & AT&T Wireless, I guess I'm finally going to leave. Can't believe how bad their service has gotten.

I’m still shock how AT&T just dropped their good signal without ever
noticing it or even denying it after I reported the issue from their store,
and blaming Apple for having an iPhone with bad reception. But as I go
around locally (including visits to Las Vegas), I found full signal vs my
area and some spots around San Diego...now checking to see if SPECTRUM
mobile can get better signal than AT&T (also WiFi auto connection
nationwide where service available).

Have the the same issue in Wichita Falls Tx. Now at home and work I get at most one bar. My coworkers have the same problem. One just switched to Verison and now gets good service. I will probably switch my six devices over. What a shame , been with Att forever.

Planning to switch to Spectrum Mobile, they’re riding on Verizon signals
and for sure better than AT&T’s signal along with customer service...

I have had AT&T wireless for several years without a problem, I had Verizon wireless since the 80s until their signal became a problem where I traveled.  Since perhaps late 2018 I realized my home area cell signal had gotten weaker and weaker to the effect of 1 bar.  Dropped and missed calls are a constant problem.  It is a company paid phone service (has been since the 80s !) so my options as a private person vary.  This is my only phone, having cut the cord with my triple play service vendor.  I work from home in the field of "Network Support" going on 36 years now and am familiar with who is doing what and where around the country at most times.  My options are: (1)Configure the phone for VoWIFI to my home router as I had before (purchase a newer phone with that ability built in, my previous identical model phone had it, the replacement phone sent me does not have it and cannot be added as the BIOS is a lower version and --- It's a company phone, so an AT&T store will not touch it; (2)a home cell signal booster (check Google to see what I mean, aside from the unit that sits inside the house you will need to run a coax cable to the external-mounted YAGI antennae which will point towards your closest cell tower);   (3) a different wireless carrier.  [Re-installing a land line is not an option].

I need to be seated near the outside wall next to a window in the house addition section where it is a single floor/no attic above, I get 1 bar 7x24.  If I move to the next room while talking, the call drops.  My next door neighbor has AT&&T, same issue with their iPhone (my phone is Android), another neighbor who lives 1 mile away has AT&T and their/my phone works great there, but their/my signal fails at my location.  I have used the AT&T app "Mark the Spot" several times and have yet to receive a sufficient answer.  My neighbor has called the AT&T support office and actually received refunded time on her monthly plan for the poor service (again, I cannot, as I have a corporate plan, bundled in with a few thousand other phones.  I live on a wide open flat area [01420] with neighbors far and few and almost at the highest elevation in my geography, so there is little interference to encounter.

Great idea...cell signal booster will enhance signal while I’m within my home area. Although signal boosters are expensive stressing from no signals or dropped calls will be resolved. Thanks!!!
