Service in Portland

Traveling through Portland this week the coverage for at)t is horrid. One or two bars max so far. Couldn't get Uber from train station for a ride to hotel. Very disappointing for a big city.

Getting poor coverage while in a big city is concerning, especially when you are trying to get a ride to your hotel.  It will be my pleasure to help!

 

The first thing I would recommend doing is making sure Airplane mode is turned Off. If it is off, then what we will need to do is refresh the connection to the network. Please turn On Airplane mode, power the phone off for around 30 seconds, and then power it back on. Once it is on, please turn Off Airplane mode, and check for service.

I also recommend visiting our Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool for more troubleshooting steps. It is a fantastic resource which gives personalized steps, and can pinpoint the source of the error! After selecting your phone’s make and model, please go to Service/network issues > Phone Calls.

 

Another great resource I can recommend is our Mark the Spot app. The biggest perk of using this app is it will let you send network/coverage issues directly to technicians and engineers in your area.
