Hi everyone,

Due to a burst steam pipe in a switching office early this evening, some AT&T customers in the Akron area may be experiencing issues with wireless and wireline services. Technicians are onsite and restoration is in progress. We expect service to begin restoring for impacted customers tonight. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Hello everyone,

All services affected by a burst steam pipe in an AT&T switching office in Akron early Tuesday evening are now restored. Technicians completed repair work Wednesday afternoon and services are currently running normally. We apologize for this inconvenience

If you're still experiencing issues, please try restarting your device.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

Don't know where you live but I live in north east Ohio and this crap is ridiculous. I was in the middle of a conversation and now have no mobile data and cell bars coming in and out. 😞 don't know y they marked this as a solution! It was clearly a reply and then 5 mins later was put as a solution. Smh

It sounds like your SIM card got corrupted. You may need to replace it.

Cell service is not 100% reliable, Networks crash or equipment fails. It happens. From a different phone, you may need to contact AT&T and advice them of the problem.
