Rotten Customer Service

I had the worst AT&T customer service experience this morning. After contacting cs about a problem with no service on my son's phone, our issue was escalated to another department after 30+ min on a group call. We were assured that the call and issue would be addressed in less than two minutes and she'd explain to the tech what the problem was and what she did so we could save time and my son could get back to work. Well, we were on hold all of 10min and when the tech guy came on he asked for the same info as the young lady. We reminded him we didn't have much time because she had spent the entirety of his break and she was supposed to transfer that info to him. He continued to ask the same questions as if he didn't hear a word we said. We wanted to get this resolved so we answered his questions and when I asked him for his name, no response. he then put us on hold for another 10min, came back, apologized for the long wait and hung up on us. We then had to call back and start over. I wish I had caught his name. I'll continue to post and complain because we are the customer and don't deserve this treatment. But that's ok, contract almost over.

I I live inHouston. Phone and internet service went down 4 days ago. I called immediately and soonest att will send a tech is Tuesday, 6 days later! Maybe he’ll show? Ya think? Almost unbelievable. I’m 77 and this is literally the worst service I have ever experienced. 6 days maybe. Do you think I ought to tip the tech?
