Poor call quality/drop calls in Miami

For the past few weeks, everywhere in Miami I go, my signal has been between 1-2 bars. Calls are getting dropped. Most of the time, I can hear the other line perfectly fine, but they cannot hear me. It is such an inconvenience, especially when making important phone calls in my profession. I am paying a high amount for a service this poor. I have called customer service and they have not resolved the issue.  Doesn’t make a difference whether on WiFi Assist or not. Anybody in Miami have similar problems?

Hello @angelinephyllis,

We can definitely provide you with some troubleshooting steps for these wireless signal issues that you've been experiencing in your area. We recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to fix this. Simply select your device and the issue, then follow the steps to find a solution. With Wi-Fi Calling from AT&T, you can talk and text over any active Wi-Fi connection. You can also use the AT&T Mark the Spot app to report dropped calls, network issues, and receive network improvement notifications. Let us know if this helps.

Ever since Hurricane Irma, there are black holes all over Miami. The signal is so bad! They changed my SIM card and it did not solve the issue. Like you said, we pay so much and even T-Mobile customers I am with have signal in places I do not. I have reported every black hole I have found on the Mark the Spot app and it goes unfixed. This has been going on for way too long. I am thinking about switching companies because my phone becomes a brick almost 100% of the time in Miami.

Very disappointed it AT&T.

The solution fix (enable wifi calling) doesn't work for me, as my ios device pops up a notice saying this feature is NOT supported. Now what?

Yes, this is what I keep telling people! Ever since Irma.

I didn't realize it was an AT&T-specific problem until it caused me major problems at work (I move around the city).
