Very poor cell reception in West Daviess County, KY

In the past, we have had very good cell phone coverage at our home.  In the past few months, the coverage is spotty at best.  Many times we cannot even make a call.   I have called ATT with no answers yet.  What's going on?

Re: Very poor cell reception in West Daviess County, KY

With all due respect, there used to be a time whereby weak cell signal was fixed by AT&T investing in more LTE antennas in more areas, thereby improving their network coverage and reliability; something loyal paying customers are no doubt expecting.

Fast foward a few years, and now they’ve got the world convinced it is not their responsibility to ensure network range and reliability; it’s yours.

Both my personal & work cell are on AT&T rendering them useless in 32907 Palm Bay, FL. Consumer Cellular works in this area and I’m very tempted to switch. I’d save a lot, plus actually be able to make & receiver calls!

Re: Poor Signal? Setup Wi-Fi Calling - A Solution From AT&T

After switching from Verizon to AT&T, my signal strength decreased significantly.  I have followed the instructions on setting up phone for Wi-Fi calling.  Hopefully, this will correct my problem.

Re: Poor Signal? Setup Wi-Fi Calling - A Solution From AT&T

For many years, it's been a known fact that AT&T signal coverage leaves much to be desired.  When I first started with Verizon many years ago, I experienced poor signal service where I live until they installed another cell tower in the area.  I imagine AT&T will catch up one of these days.  If you have a router for Wi-Fi, the solution provided in the previous post by AT&T Customer Care works great.  I set my cell phone up per the instructions and I no longer have signal problems where I live.  Signal problems when travelling?  That's a given regardless of who the carrier is.
