Where are AT&T Cell Towers/Antennas in my area?

Hi All,

Are there any web sites that list where the towers/ antennas are located for ATT for each of the various signals types  ie: cell/pcs/2g/3g/4g   etc.

I have a signal booster (zboost 575-a ) at home but I'm not getting enough gain using the omni directional antenna even though the antenna is located 30 feet up.  l thinking that using a directional antenna is my only option,  but if ATT provides voice and data from different towers/antennas then the directional antenna wouldn't work.

Does ATT broadcast all services at each location or is it spread across different sites?

http://www.antennasearch.com/ doesn't help me.  It only shows antennas within a 4 mile radius, which doesn't help if you intend on installing an amplifier and booster anyway in the direction of the tower that you need.  If you need to boost a particular cellular carrier signal and the only antennas this website shows within a 4 mile radius are privately owned radio antennas, that information does you no good.  I prefer using http://www.cellreception.com/towers/.  It'll show towers from the surrounding area using google maps and it'll show which towers are with which carriers.  The website is owned by 2machines Corp and the site is up-to-date.  They get their information from towers registered with the FCC.

actually antennasearch shows the FCC data and who owns the cell site...  You have to look into the tower registrations.  Most towers around here are within 4 miles...

I guess I can see who owns what as sbc is verizons tower holdings corp...  and us cellular well thats self explanatory

Not sure where you live, but we are right on 63 Highway about 5 miles north of West Plains, MO. I have Straight Talk, and first tried to use a Verizon SIM but couldn't even get a one bar signal to connect. I then switched to the AT&T SIM, and have been using that service ever since. Just checked my phone and have a full signal and LTE service for talk and data. If I travel north of the Willow Springs area, I lose my connection.

I like my Straight Talk plan - about $55 a month with more data than I can use and unlimited talk and text. I also used Consumer Cellular but their max data plan is 4 or 5 G - just not enough for me.

I'm not much of a tech buff but wonder why cell phone and data service can't work from satellites like our television and internet uses. Seems to me being tethered to physical tower locations is antiquated.

Dear AT&T,

I live near the Path Station of Harrison, NJ, 07029.

I have a very weak AT&T cellular signal at my cell phone. Just one "signal bar" shows in my cell phone. The signal strength reached my home is very weak.

When I make a phone call, the voice is hardly heard.

Could you please build a small (micro) base station near the Path Station of Harrison, NJ, 07029 to enhance my SINR and  QoS?

Thank you very much!

We are having time down in our area.  We have gone to the local at&t stores.  They don’t know any more than we do.  Why pay for service if it isn’t working?

Hello msmith2523, let's get you pointed in the right direction for support in your area.

This is a 7 year old thread. Could please start your own thread that include the zip code? You can also check for an outage using your zip code.
