Horrible Service in north end of Thornton Colorado

I moved to the northern end of Thornton Colorado and my service drops every single call and cuts out. People cannot hear me. I cannot connect with family or do my work from home. There is absolutely no signal even at Target in Orchard Center. ATT service is not even worth a single penny! I have been a long time ATT customer, not for long!

We're moving to the area of Hyw. 7 and York. Anyone know how AT&T service is near there?

Hello @tvloolo,

Having your service go in and out is a big deal, especially if you just moved to this location!  This is something we do not want any of our customers to experience.  We do have some great information to provide for you!

Some things which may cause this are tall trees and buildings, building structure materials, population growth, construction, and weather.  If any of these are currently going on in your area, these may be contributing to the issue.  I do recommend downloading Mark the Spot app which will allow you to provide feedback and statistics based on your local network to our network operations team.  You are able to see your coverage here.

There are some self-service troubleshooting steps to try as well.  Please feel free to visit our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Here, you choose your Phone Manufacturer > then choose your Device > under Service/network issues, please choose Phone Calls.  Here, you can follow a troubleshooting flow to determine the best resolution for your device!

Some other helpful tips is you can get a new SIM card from an AT&T corporate store to try.  You can troubleshoot can’t make or receive calls.  Please visit this article about dropped calls and network issues.  Most smartphones are capable of Wi-Fi calling which is a benefit to help with areas impacted by low signal.

If you need any further help, please feel free to contact us back.  I appreciate the opportunity to help you!

AT&T's response to my husband and my contacting about horrible service and dropped calls resulted in waiting 5 days to get an automated message that service is limited in our area. We live in a dense area in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Your map that shows where your service is, is a lie! AT&T is losing me as a customer because I am literally paying AT&T for no cell service right now. And since I am not an imbecile. I will go elsewhere with my business.

Hello @tvloolo,

Thank you for your response back.  I appreciate the additional information you have provided.  We do value you as a customer and your business!  We would hate to see you leave for any reason.  It is an understandable concern if there is no service.  Please allow us to show some information about network extension!

A dense area low or no signal is something which needs to be addressed.  Please review this article to see how we are improving our network.  In order to request a network extension, you can follow this link.  Please also check out this forum post which has great information to contact us for a tower.  I hope all this information helps and you are able to stay a loyal AT&T customer!

I’m glad to guide you towards these sites for a network extension request!  Have a great day!
