Dropped Calls, unable to download, texts not going through

I have been with AT nT for 25 years and have never experienced this bad of service.  I have 4 phones on my plan and we are all having the same issues.  I might mention have not moved same city. On AT nT 's site it says full coverage in my area.  Once we leave our homes with  wifi most of the time it is impossible to use internet or to send text messages. As we use our phones for this very reason it makes them useless.  I have spent hours on the phone with AT and T going through useless rebooting turning thing on and off and so on.  Finally they opened a case on our problems only to receive  a simple text back saying "coverage is limited at the location you reported.  Learn more at www.att.com/net-workconnectivity. Thank you for choosing AT&T."  What a crock if you click on the link and go to my area it shows full service.  All the rumors about them turning their cell towers down must be true and I will be shouting it to everyone that will listen, that is right after I switch to another provider.

Hello and good morning @tarahaven68.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Forums.  I am sorry about the service problems you are experiencing.  I would like to share some information with you.

Issues with poor coverage can be for a number of reasons which will cause spots with little or no coverage. You may be in a location where we are not licensed to coverage for a particular area.  Signal strength can also be affected by local environmental causes such as buildings, terrain, and weather.  It is also possible you are experiencing congestion due to high number of customers using the service in a particular area.  This may result in reduced or poor speeds.

We are constantly optimizing the network to improve wireless service by adding new cell sites, and increasing the network capacity.  I recommend using our Mark the Spot app to report dropped calls, network issues, and receive network improvement notifications.  Please review our detailed article to learn more about resolving service issues, and reporting connectivity issues.

I appreciate your patience, and understanding.  Reach out to us if have other questions, or concerns.  I wish you the best, and have a great day!

I do not accept this.  I have been in the same area for the last 20 years.  There are no tall buildings and I live in Florida there are no mountains.  The reason I have poor coverage per your representatives is because 3 of the 4 towers in my area have been down since November!!!!  Unacceptable!!!  I was also told one will never be fixed, one should be fixed soon and another has no date as to when it will be fixed.  The final tower which is working is the furthest from my area and gives limited coverage at best!
