Bad coverage

Our cabin address is on Sioux st in South lake Tahoe Ca. We have terrible service. Is there anything that can be done? This is a vacation home, no internet service in the home.
AT&T talks about their 'great coverage' but what I've experience is not so. Yosemite has no coverage what so ever! It's really frustrating!
