Receiving international calls

I am using 45$ monthly payment plan. So, texting and making calls are unlimited in States. If I am not mistaken if I receive a international call there is no cost. Does it mean that if someone call me from Turkey, Canada, Italy, anywhere I will not pay anything and my payment will stick to 45$?

Hello @BurceUgur!

I completely understand your concern about receiving calls from other countries.  I myself would not want to be charged for these calls.  I will be happy to address this matter with you.

As long as you are on the receiving end, there will be no charges applied to your account.  In other words, you can receive calls and text from any country without any cost to you.  The only time you’ll be charged for international calls is if you dialed out to an international number.

Correct. It does not matter where the call is from, received calls do not cost extra. Now if you call a number in Turkey, Italy, etc, then you will pay international long distance.

Anthony, I recently signed up for an AT&T prepaid phone but I am unable to receive international calls. How can I solve that issues?

Additional question same topic.

Also in the $45 monthly prepaid plan, while in Canada you can call/receive_calls unlimited with USA or Canada.

I was clarified before that you can receive international calls (Turkey/Italy/Spain...) at no cost while in the US.

Can you receive international calls (Turkey/Italy/Spain...) at no cost while you are in Canada?

@rafaelpalacios There is no extra cost for any received call whether you are in the US or Canada or Mexico.

@aodvg , I have been on At&t prepaid for years and cannot receive international calls.

I have tried various prepaid plans, talked with customer support, they said I should be good to receive international calls, and yet I haven't been able to resolve this.

It would be so nice to find a solution to this.
